Hi, I'm Katie — the face (and heart) behind Blackbird Boutique.

For a long time, starting my own business was just a daydream. Then one day I finally went for it. Honestly, there wasn't some big business plan behind it. I just wanted my daughter close to me, and I've always loved clothes that actually feel like something — not just another item off a rack. So I opened a little shop with that simple goal in mind, and everything else — how we run things, what we carry, what we stand for — came together slowly, one season at a time, as our little community grew around us.

Blackbird Boutique is still woman-owned and still right here in Stockton. My daughter basically grew up inside these four walls — she's got her own regulars now, people who stop by just to say hi to her. Watching this place turn from a scrappy little dream into something our community actually loves? I still get a little emotional about it.
